My clicks are recording but no conversions are firing — what is wrong?

Almost always one of three things: traffic quality, landing experience friction, or a tracking gap. Work through them in that order.

Clicks recording, conversions not firing — the most common stumbling block in any affiliate program. Work through this in order; the cause is almost always one of three categories.

1. Traffic quality (most common)

Most "no conversions" problems are not technical — they are an audience mismatch. ourdream.ai converts on intent: users who want what we offer subscribe at a healthy rate; users who clicked because the ad looked interesting but had no underlying intent do not. If you are sending broad, top-of-funnel traffic, you should expect very low conversion rates.

Quick check: if your conversion rate is under 0.5% across more than 500 clicks, the issue is almost certainly audience, creative, or content fit — not tracking.

2. Landing experience friction

Users land on ourdream.ai but bounce before reaching a subscription page. Common causes: the deeplink (sub1sub4) is sending them to the wrong experience, the page took too long to load on mobile, or your hook (ad, headline, post, subject line) made a promise the landing experience doesn't match.

Quick check: click your own link from a mobile device on cellular, time how long it takes to load, and ask whether the experience matches what your ad promised.

3. A tracking gap

Less common, but real — and only relevant if you use a tracker (RedTrack, Voluum, BeMob, Binom). If your sub5 (click ID) is not being captured, postbacks fire blind and your tracker has no way to credit conversions. SEO, community, and email affiliates without a tracker can skip this check — your conversions will still attribute correctly in Everflow.

Quick check: open the click report in Everflow and confirm sub5 is populated for your recent clicks. If it is empty, fix it at the link level — the tracking links guide covers how.
